I know it's been forever... so I'll do a quick update.
The girls... OMG how they've grown. Seriously. They went from size 24 months to 3T overnight and even their 3T's pants are barely long enough. I'm struggling to find either elastic waist pants or those with the adjustable waistband. Poor Remy has no hips and very little butt so her pants are always falling down! I may have to break out my sewing machine and made some adjustments, God help me. And shoes??? Jesus they're in size 9!!! sneakers. *faint*
We've been going thru a bit of "the terrible twos" lately. They have good days and bad, but mostly lately SOMEONE is having a bad day. We're talking tantrums and testing the limits and all out war on some days. It's so hard to give them both the attention they want at the same time.. especially when 1 is in a foul mood and the other is happy-go-lucky. Yesterday we had tantrum after tantrum over an empty box of Honey Comb cereal. *roll eyes*
Homelife... we've FINALLY found a new place to call home on a more permanent basis. Apartment living was fun for a while, but we're ready to move on to something bigger. Not another house though.. that would mean mowing grass and snow removal *shudder*... but instead a townhome we can grow in for a while. So this means moving again *sigh* in June. The good news is my parents are flying up from Louisiana the week after we move. They'll occupy the little heathens enjoy their grandchildren while we unpack and get settled in. We're also hoping to take a trip up to Mt. Washington while their here.. even if only a day trip to show my mother the mountains.
Cooking.. I've recently started a Cooking Blog. I haven't posted a whole lot but I hope to do so more in the coming months. Please visit and comment, for crying out loud. LOL
And because you know I can't post without adding a picture...
We've had issues with diaper rash... so the doctor told us to let Sydney run around diaperless after bath to "air dry". Only it's winter in New England and the poor kid would freeze. So I found these little robes on Target for $15! And they have MONKEYS on them! Could these kids BE any more happy about getting bathrobes???? *laugh*
You may remember This post! from last year when I first tried Sugar Free Peeps.
Well my husband thought it would be a good idea to do a 2nd taste test to see if they had changed any.
So tonight at Wal-mart I picked up another package for $.99. Now to preface the verdict, I must say that I've been on a strict diet and haven't eaten anything sweet in weeks, so I thought for sure they would taste really good to me.
Nope... they still suck. And I want my Dollar back.
Extreme Home Makeover comes to Maynard...
Rusted Robot just down the road in Maynard, MA has confirmed that Ty and company have landed in town to makeover the home of a local family. The family is the much deserving Giunta Family who was struck with tragedy last year when Paul was in a car accident on the way home from visiting his wife in the hospital. (she had just given birth!). Paul has massive head injuries and had been in the hospital for more than 16 months.

Remy is at the stage where she wants her babydolls to do whatever she's doing.
When Remy eats... Babydoll eats, and even needs her own chair.
When Remy sleeps.. Babydoll gets tucked in too.
When Remy has a diaper change... Babydoll stinks too. LOL
Today she took it to a whole new level. Now when it's art time, Babydoll (or in this case, Bear) needed his own paper and crayons. Then she showed him how to color. ::::lookaround::: Seriously folks, is this normal for a 27 month old???
And now for some adult humor.
This is the funniest thing I've seen in a LONG time.
When one is afraid of windshield wipers and we can't leave the house.... this is what we do..
