20 Little Toes...

Syd's preferred reading material these days. She was beyond tickled to get a stack of "Cooking Light" magazines off freecycle too. 

And if you're wondering how it went...

Sometime just after 11pm, the hiphop dancing and general merriment came to an abrupt end.  One of them actually made it to the bed before passing out.  The other looks like she had a rough night at the bar.

I know... I know...

I know it's been absolutely forever since my last update.   It's been a LONG summer.  Warning.. this post is picture heavy.

We started off the summer moving into our new home... We have a nice yard for the girls to play in, and a kitchen I love to cook in, and lots of room to move around and grow.

The girls have really enjoyed having a nice yard to run around in every day.  Mama's enjoyed them being worned out every day. 

We've spent an insane amount of time at local playgrounds... where the girls have made lots of new friends.

They started a prep class to prepare them for preschool.. I know it sounds completely insane, but they're SO attached to me that I'm afraid we'll have major problems when I have to leave them for a few hours a day.  This little class is just for 2 hours a week, and so far they seem to enjoy it.

We graduated to big girl beds today... God help us.

If anyone has any tips on how to KEEP THEM in the bed (without beating them or using duck tape), please let me know.   I have a feeling it's going to be a LONG night.
